"The Happiest Place on Earth"

For Christmas the kids received a trip to Disneyland from Santa. We had a countdown calendar that the kids opened every day until we left, last Monday.
We left Cedric at home with Bryce and Sara who were so nice to take care of him for us. This was the kids second time on an airplane, because they were so little the first time, it was a fun experience to fly again.
That same day we arrived we headed off to Disneyland! We had a five day pass to both Disneyland and California Adventure and took advantage of every second we could. We rode almost every ride we could. Jefferson's favorite was Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blaster, Lily's favorite was Indiana Jones, Tom's was the Toy Story Mania and mine was Space Mountain. The kids were so good to go on everything they could. Jefferson was always so serious and always had the same expression on his face. We went on Space Mountain so many times, we lost count.
Jeff loved all the rides, even the fast ones. The only ride that was highly disliked by Lily was Tower of Terror. This is us right after the ride.
She cried and pouted for about two hours after that ride. The only time Jeff threw a fit was when he wasn't sitting by his dad on a ride, or was just really hungry.
We also had fun watching parades, seeing shows, watching 3D movies, climbing around tree houses and playgrounds, going to the petting zoo, talking to Crush the turtle, shopping, participating in the Jedi Training academy,

eating at Ariel's Grotto, and meeting around 25 characters! The kids had fun getting autograph's from most of them and interacting with the princesses at Ariel's Grotto.
Every night the kids would crash the second their heads hit the pillow.
My leg muscles were sore from all the walking, and although we had an umbrella stroller for the kids to share most of the time, they walked a lot too. They were such good kids, we had such a fun time! It was also fun to run into Tom's sister, Maren at the airport and my sister, Aimee and her family at the hotel and in California Adventure. We had rented a car to go to the beach one day, but ended up not making it. We were having way to much fun in the parks!
It was so hard to return home to reality, we are all going through major Disneyland withdrawals. We can't wait to go back again when Cedric's tall enough to go with us (we won't take them unless they are over 40 inches).

What a fun trip! They sure got it right when they named Disneyland "The Happiest Place on Earth". I don't think I have ever seen your kids so happy! Makes me want to go back right now!

The petting zoo was in Frontier Land, behind Thunder Mountain. It wasn't much of a petting zoo though.
