Destroying Angels

I often embarrassed that my house looks the way it does when I compare it to other peoples houses. I don't have furniture that matches, no cute sayings on the wall, but instead dents on the corners of every room and on tables and chairs, toys everywhere, etc. But I've come to accept that my idea of a "cute" house is not in the cards for me right now. That is a someday dream. Why, you wonder? I'll give you three good reasons...

Thursday Lily went to school in a perfect pair of pants (which is a rarity this time of year). When she came home from school her pants looked like this (she tour both sides of her pants all the way up the seam)...

Jefferson, in protest of going to bed last night decided to do this...

And Cedric loves to throw things in the garbage. Here are a few things I have found in the garbage...

He also loves to climb on everything and especially the toilet. He pulls the cover off, climbs up and plays in the sink.

So until I have children who are able to respect theirs and other peoples property, we will continue to live in a house decorated with crayon scribbles, hand-me-down furniture, child locks and toys decorating the floor.
