Cedric Turns 7!

Cedric was born on October 4th, 2008.

This cute little boy is now seven years old!

The Friday before his birthday, I took donuts to his class.

 Cedric's birthday was on a Sunday this year.

 It was also General Conference Sunday.  So we had our traditional "conference" rolls for breakfast.

 After conference was over, we sang Happy Birthday.

And Ced blew out the candles.

 Then he had to follow a string all over the house that led him to his presents.

 

He was so excited to open all of his presents.

 

And he was just a little bit excited with what he got.  All Avengers stuff!

He had to try them out.

After dinner, we had cake and ice cream.  It was a money cake, so the kids had to eat carefully and found wrapped coins inside their cake.  Cedric was the lucky one to get the dollar coin!

We sure do love our little Avenger boy!

He ended up going to sleep that night with his new toys. (The shield was not new.)

The next day the party continued!  We went to Culvers for dinner.

Then we went to The wAIRhouse for some trampoline fun!

Monday nights they have a family deal so it was cheaper.  Plus, we practically had the whole place to ourselves!

The foam pit was one of Ced's favorites.

A few weeks later we had a little party for Cedric and his cousin, Adair.  They got to blow out candles on the lasagna.

He got a few more presents too.  Later, Grandpa Kent and Grandma Suzy took Cedric on his birthday date.  They went to In-N-Out Burger for dinner and then to Toys R Us where Cedric got some more Avenger guys (and bought Maleficent with the money he got from Nana and Grandpa Bryce) for his Disney Infinity game.

Here are seven things I love about Cedric...

1.  He loves people and makes friends wherever he goes.

2.  He has an amazing imagination and tells amazing stories.

3.  He's a smart boy, likes to read and does well in school.

4.  He has a sensitive side that is so sweet.

5.  He wants to be baptized and loves to bare his testimony in church.

6.  He loves to help cook meals and wants to be a baker when he grows up.

7.  He's a good boy and wants to do what's right.  He's a positive influence to those around him.
