Update on Sophie

See previous post first.
So yesterday I was debating whether or not to take Sophie to the doctor. Then I got the impression to have Tom and our home teacher give her a priesthood blessing. After all, if I'm willing to try an onion to help cure my child, than why wouldn't I depend on a true source of healing, the power of our Heavenly Father. She was given a blessing that afternoon. However, she did not sleep well at all that night! I probably laid her back down twenty times. So today I felt like her terrible night was Heavenly Father's way of telling me she needed to go to the doctor. I knew she was feeling better, but when I prayed about it the feeling was strong to take her in. I figure, if nothing else it was for peace of mind. I didn't want to go to the Instacare as I knew the wait would be long and it'd be more expensive and today being a holiday I thought it'd be my only option. Well, Tom suggested just checking to see if the pediatricians office was open today, so I called and they were! I took her in this afternoon and the doctor discovered an ear infection. I know that was a result from her illness, but I'm so glad I followed the prompting to take her in, tonight she was finally playing like her old self again and was jabbering more than I've heard her talk in days. Currently, she's fighting us to go to sleep, so I hope we aren't in for another rough night. But the antibiotics should be working in a day or two, so hopefully we are at the end of this long sickness road. I am so grateful for the priesthood in my home and know it is truly power from God. I'm grateful I can turn to my Heavenly Father in prayer whenever I need to (as I have so much these past few days). He loves me and will always answer my prayers.
