Lilyisms

Lily often says funny things, which I call "Lilyisms". Here is an example of some Lilyisms from today. After waking up with a stuffy nose this morning Lily was sitting next to me and Cedric and said "gross, Cedric's feet smell. Wait, I can't smell anything". At school Lily has a hard time staying on task and the teacher has to put a timer next to her to help her be done with her work on time. Apparently Lily is allowed to go back to her desk to finish the work she didn't complete on time. When she got home today she made this comment, "Mrs. R said that in first grade you can't go back to your desk. But you can in second grade. I can't wait until I'm in college, 'cause then I can live on my own". What?! Lily also loves to make up songs. She sings while she plays, or to her baby brother. Her lyrics hardly ever make sense, it's really cute.
Side note: Yesterday Jefferson decided to spit chocolate milk out all over his bed, then he found a marker and proceeded to color all over the wall in his room. While I was cleaning up the marker (I only let a two-year-old help so much), he was busy squirting Desitin out all over the carpet. May I add this was this morning when I was trying to get Lily ready for school and I was waiting for a potential preschool client and her family to come meet me. I was a little stressed.
Oh, and might I also mention that Cedric has decided to not nap anymore. I mean, he naps, but the total amount of sleep equals less than the length of one of Jeff's naps. He it really wearing me out. Even if I let him cry in his bed for close to an hour, if he ever does eventually fall asleep it's for only 45 minutes or so. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a four-month-old to take naps?
