Wednesday, May 22nd was Jeff’s 7th birthday!  First, he got to open a few presents at family dinner the Sunday before his birthday.  He got a lot of candy and money :)

His real birthday was the day before preschool graduation, so I wasn’t able to do much for him.  I hung some balloons and bought some donuts for his breakfast (sorry, the lighting was so bad in these pictures).  I also had one present for him to open.  It was the Skylander, Ninjini.  The one he wanted the most! (Tom and I had been keeping our eye out for her, since she’s hard to find and had no luck.  Then, the day before Jeff’s birthday, I found 3-4 of them at Walmart!  I was so excited!)

That night he ended up going to another friends birthday party :)

On Saturday, Jeff had his birthday date with Grandpa Kent and Suzy.  He got some new Legos and spent most of Saturday and Sunday putting them together.

Saturday night we had his party.  Since it was an odd birthday year, that meant a family party.  However, we let him invite one friend to come.  He picked his friend, Steven and we had Steven’s whole family come with us (minus their toddler and ours, whom we left home with a sitter).  First we went to Chick-fil-A for dinner, then we went and did laser tag!  Afterwards, we came back to our house for cake, ice cream and presents(more Skylander's and a Skylander shirt).

  

We are so blessed to have Jefferson in our family.  Here are seven things I love about Jeff…

1- He is such a smart boy and always top in his class and gets straight A’s.

2- He’s such a good friend.  He is very social and always seems to be with friends and makes new friends easily.

3- He is very good at games and sports.  Jeff’s favorite sport right now is basketball.

4- He’s a good babysitter and loves babies.  It’s so fun to see how sweet and gentle he is with his little sister and other babies.

5- He has a great smile.  Jeff is very photogenic and looks so handsome when he smiles.

6- He is very tech savvy and has a great knowledge of electronics.

7- He understands what’s right.  Jeff is starting to gain a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
