Cedric's 4th Birthday

On Thursday, Oct. 4th my baby boy turned four years old!
Here are four things I love about Cedric...
1- He LOVES everybody!  He will be anyone's best friend in seconds.
2-He is so cuddly.  Even at age four he still loves to hug and cuddle.
3 - He has an incredible imagination.
4 - he is a smart kid and can pick up new concepts easily.

Tuesday we decided to have Cedric's party, since it was less stressful than Thursday.  Cedric wanted a Halloween themed party and helped me make his monster cupcakes.
He had just a few friends, but it was enough to have a great party.
First the kids started out making monsters out of play-dough.
(I had to get pictures of the cute balloons I made :)
Then we had a round of pumpkin bowling.
After, we played a game I made up called Make a Monster.  We broke up into two teams, girls against boys.  Each team got a monster, than rolled a die to match a number to a body part (ie: 1 for mouth, 2 for nose, etc.) and stuck that part onto the monster body.

 Here were the final monsters.
Then we had dinner.  Witches eyeballs, witches brew, werewolf claws and mummy dogs.
Then we played pinata.

Next we sang "Happy Birthday" and ate cake and ice cream (or ghost brains).
Last was present time!  It was such a good party and the weather was perfect!
On Thursday was Cedric's real birthday.
We had nachos/taco salad for dinner with Halloween colored chips.  It was so funny because Jeff ate one and said "oh, they colored the chips?  I thought it tasted like crayon".
I thought it was my birthday when I dug into my salad...
Next Cedric opened his presents from his siblings (and Mom & Dad).
He got all Incredible Hulk stuff.  Gloves from Jeff, a shirt from Sophie and a mask from Lily.
 He loved them!
Then we ate leftover cake and ice cream and sang again.

Oh, but there was one more present.  This one from Mom and Dad and was for Cedric, Lily and Jeff.  First the kids did a scavenger hunt with different clues such as in _ _ days...
you're going to pack your bags...
Each clue revealing a little more of what the gift was.  The last clue led the kids to this present.
When Lily realized what was inside she was jumping for joy!
In it was a Mickey Mouse doll holding a sign that said they get to go to Disneyland!  They were so excited (especially Lily)!
Poor Sophie isn't invited.  She'll have to stay home with a babysitter.
My sister, Aimee was nice to come as our videographer as well as our buddy Tigger.
This will be Cedric's first time to Disneyland.
It was a fun birthday week.
Happy Birthday Cedric!
