February

I can't believe February is already half over! It's already been an eventful month. First, I started going to the gym. For those that know me, this is a big deal. I don't like to exercises, but being over 30 I can tell it's time to face the fact that my metabolism is not what it used to be. Tom and I both got memberships at 24 Hour Fitness and we've gone together a few times. The kids enjoy playing in the kid care too. However, weights and treadmills were getting old fast, so I decided to try Zumba. I did my first class last night and really enjoyed it. Although it was very tiring!
For Christmas my siblings and I decided to give my parents a trip for their present. It wasn't anything elaborate, but last weekend we enjoyed going down to St. George, just the adults and being lazy all week. My generous aunt and uncle let us stay in their company house which was perfect for the ten of us. We had fun playing games
watching movies
going on bike rides, walks, going out to eat and sleeping in! And the weather was perfect! One day, after getting dressed, I walked into the room where my sister was getting ready to find we were wearing the exact same shirt! It didn't last long.
It was such a fun break and I always enjoy spending time with my family. The kids had fun staying at their friends Tyler, Brysen, Morgan and Jayden's houses and getting to sleep over for the whole weekend!
We also had a nice Valentine's Day. Nothing special, but our tradition is always to do take out and eat at home. This year we got SamPan Chinese mmmmm! Tom gave me salmon colored roses (my favorite) and I got him a box of cookies and candy. The kids also got treats and enjoyed their school parties. Lily got a purple rose from her dad too.
This week in preschool we did our mid-year field trip. This year I took the kids on a double field trip to PetSmart and Harmon's Grocery Store. Here is Jeff petting a snake at the pet store
Here he is touching a poky fruit at the grocery store (don't worry, they washed their hands in between the two stores :)

Happy February everyone!
