Compliments from Kids
Last Saturday was my birthday, the big 3 0. While Lily was brushing my hair for me (I love when she brushes my hair)she said "mom, I'm glad you're 30 because you are now so much smarter, but I'm sad you're 30 because now you're so old!" She also made me a card that said "Mom, I love you better than Dad". She said she use to love dad better, but now loves me better. I told her she could love us both the same. I love the honesty of children.

Well HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Lily kills me- she is so funny! Hope you had a wonderful day- I think the 30's are the best years of your life.
